Skinny Egg & Toast




According to Dr. Oz, starting your day with an egg gives your metabolism a nice jump thanks to the protein. I took his advice. I hard boiled my egg to avoid frying it in fatty butter or oil, sprinkled a little ground pepper on my egg, paired it with a slice of sourdough toast (very lightly buttered) and a cup of coffee (light cream) and I had myself a very energized breakfast, that doesn't leave you feeling deprived and skips the calorie overload.

Total Calories: 220
This has become my "go-to" breakfast for hurried mornings. 
*Keep a bowl of hard boiled eggs in your fridge for easy snacks/breakfast/lunch fixes.
